Hello,
What does "so much faster" mean? Can it handle more concurrent connections,
does it offer greater thruput when fetching mails, does it stress the server
less...? I have not applied this new package to our RAQ yet, and I'm
wondering if I should given that I have no problems with the existing
setup... (never change a running system...?)

I am top posting because the full text of the original post is important in
this case.
I can confirm the same behavior. I have 2 Raq4's with the updated Qpopper
and I had to manually remove the md5lst as well before the update would
install properly.
That being said once installed everything is great and the new Qpopper is so
much faster than the regular cobalt installed version.
