I can do any of these steps. As far as automatic creation programs, all
you need is to put your files in the proper dir structure and do a
tar zcvf /tmp/packagename.pkg .
in the "root" of the PKG contents dir.

iptables is similar to, but quite a different animal from, ipchains. A lot
of the UI bits should be transportable, except the 550 UI is totally
different from the RaQ 4.
To make it completely generic, and thus more portable to a generic Linux
box, we might want to investigate a separate "pop-up" admin UI. That way
it will work and look the same on all platforms; the only piece to
customize is the "launch" button in the UI to make the popup appear...
