Re: [cobalt-security] Nmap command

I tried the nmap -sS command on a RaQ 4i with 128mbram and 20gb harddisk and a RaQ 3 with 32mbram and 10,2gb harddisk and absolutely noting happend. The portscan went great, and ive got a nice open ports list. So i can't seem te see the problem here.

Sun-Cobalt only provide support to the first 30-day of purchase, so pointless to post them email.

Anyone that has installed nmap on a Linux box should know how to use it by typing nmap -h.

I just do the simplest port scanning of nmap IP Address or nmap -sS IP Address.

By the way, I try to use Netscan and Superscan both Windows version of port scanning software and both will not hang the Cobalt Raq4, only nmap is having the problem.

Advise is appreciated.

Thanks.
