To 8.2.3, and that nmap command had no effect on it at all (raq2 with
current OS upgrades + new bind rpm)

9.1.x is unlikely to be stable anyhow, it has lots and lots of changes in
ccluding ipv6 support, there could be all kinds of reasons for it crashing

A good way to miscompile on the raq2, autoconfig is broken...
