You don't need the "--with-mysql" option any more - it's automatically
assumed. Building from source isn't that hard, though try not doing at the
same time as your log rotation!
Is there a cobalt specific problem if I decide to upgrade MySQL on my own?
In a word - no. Just watch your diskspace.
