You could always take the HDD out of it and mount it in another linux system with
root access. Then you could manually modify the password and shadow files, save
them, unmount and put it back in your cobalt. At least it will fix your access
anyway, not sure what to tell ya about the rest.... maybe thats where the sledge
would come in :)
